A Lifetime in Lubbock

Experience that comes from doing the work.

Tim Green has spent his life building, serving and investing in Lubbock.

He served 15 years as a firefighter, gaining firsthand experience with public safety, emergency response and the responsibility that comes with serving neighbors during some of their most difficult moments.

Tim later built a career in the homebuilding industry, where he has spent more than 35 years in business and helped build more than 1,000 homes across the community.

That combination of public service and private-sector experience has shaped the practical approach he brings to Lubbock City Hall.

How Tim Approaches Service

Listen first. Do the homework. Get the job done.

Tim believes local government works best when elected leaders stay accessible, understand the details and focus on practical solutions rather than political noise.

His approach to City Council is straightforward: listen to residents, ask tough questions, respect taxpayer dollars and keep District 4 informed about the decisions being made at City Hall.
